Contact the permit office Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

• Reservations may be made either by calling (614) 645-3337 or in person at 1111 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43205.
• Reservations are available on a first served basis, but  when two or more persons arrive at the same time or near the same time to rent the same facility. We will conduct a random drawing to see who will get the opportunity to make the reservation for the facility.  This is to eliminate the incentive of people staying all night at the entrance in order to be first in line.  Everyone at the front door when we open will have an equal opportunity to reserve the facility by use of a random drawing. The drawing will determine the order customers are served and may occur at any time in the day that multiple customers arrive at the same time or approximately the same time to request the same facility.
• There is a two (2) hour minimum rental time for each facility rental.
• Reservations are accepted one year to date.  Weekend dates requested will be taken Fridays.
• Full payment is due at the time that you make your reservation.  Payment may be made over the telephone with a Visa, MasterCard, Discover card or check will be accepted from walk-in customers.

We provide public rentals of department facilities such as gyms, shelter houses and room rentals.

The office also issues special permits such as block party permit.
