-QuickStart
Tennis is an
exciting new play format for learning tennis, designed to bring kids into the
game by utilizing specialized equipment, shorter court dimensions and
modified scoring, all tailored to age and size. It is divided into two
different levels-- ages 8 and under and ages 10 and under.
It's the fast, fun way to get kids into
tennis-- and keep them playing.
Columbus Recreation and Parks Department is proud to be a partner with the United States Tennis Association in bringing this program to Columbus.
What is QuickStart Tennis?
The NEW QuickStart format includes modified court sizes, 36’ and 60’; low compression tennis balls. These modifications allows for even the youngest player to establish control during their matches.

The Columbus USTA Jr. Team QuickStart Tennis League is for boys and girls ages 6 to 10. Programs are available for ages 6-8 and 9-10. Whether or not your child has ever held a racquet, there’s a spot on a team for them.
