Lincoln Theater Ballroom Rental Rates

Revised 2006, under new management of Recreation and Parks Department

Permit and Rental Services Section

 

All shelter house rules and regulations apply to the Lincoln Theater Ballroom. Due to extensive carpeting of this facility, we will only host one rental group per day.

 

Regular and For Profit Rates:

 

Monday through Friday (8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., two hour minimum time rental).

Day rate is $125 per hour

If renting for 8 hours, a discount is provided and the rate is $800, and if renting a ninth hour during the daytime, the last hour is $100 per hour.

 

Monday through Friday (5:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m., two hour minimum time rental).

Evening rate is $150 per hour

If renting the full block of time (5:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.) a discount is provided and the rate is $800.

 

Saturday and Sunday, (Two hour minimum).

Weekend rate is $150 per hour

If renting eight hours a discount is provided and the rate is $1,000. If renting more than eight hours continuously the rate is $1,000 for the first eight hours and $125 per each additional hour up until 11:00 p.m.

 

Non-Profit Rates (Proof of 501C3 or similar status required via current IRS letter):

 

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. (two hour minimum time rental).

Day rate is $100 per hour

If renting for 8 hours, an additional discount is provided and the rate is $640, and if renting a ninth hour during the daytime, the last hour is $80 per hour.

 

Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. (Two hour minimum time rental)

Evening rate is $120 per hour

If renting the full block of time (5:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.) an additional discount is provided and the rate is $640.

Alcohol Use

 

If a customer wishes to have alcohol served during their event, they are required to pay a one time alcohol privilege fee of $100 in addition to the rental fees. This must be done in person at our office located at 420 West Whittier Street, and the customer must be at least 21 years of age and have identification in the form of a driver’s license, or a State of Ohio ID.

 

Conditions for Alcohol use:

 

The customer must hire qualified, bonded, and experienced bar tending or beverage concierge services from an approved list of the Recreation and Parks Department.

Alcohol may not be sold at events, nor tickets sold for events providing alcohol. There may not be cash bars. There can be no collecting of money or tickets in association with a rental of the Lincoln Theater Ballroom.
